TextileDepartment's Freshmen of 2024 Visit CINTE24

FromSeptember 19th to 21st, 2024, the 17th China International Trade Fairfor Technical Textiles and Nonwovens (CINTE24), hosted by the ChinaNational Textile And Apparel Council and co-organized by the ChinaCouncil for the Promotion of International Trade - Textile IndustrySub-Council, China Technical Textile Industry Association, and MesseFrankfurt (HK) Ltd., was held grandly at the Shanghai NewInternational Expo Centre. One hundred and thirty freshmen from thetextile engineering and nonwoven materials and engineering majors ofthe Textile and Garment College visited the exhibition under theguidance of professional teachers.

CINTE24focused on the theme of "Green, Smart, and Fusion", withthree main exhibition halls: Overseas Pavilions and EngineeringFabrics (Hall E1), Nonwovens and Products (Hall E2), and AdvancedTechnical Textiles (Hall E3), covering an exhibition area of 38,000square meters. Over 400 exhibitors from China, Belgium, France,Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, theUnited States, Vietnam, and other countries and regions competed onthe same stage, demonstrating CINTE's strong industrial agglomerationeffect and brand cohesion. The students broadened their horizons andlearned about many unexpected textile and nonwoven products.

Theexhibition displayed the award-winning entries from the 12th"Jinsanfa·Dangsheng" Cup National University StudentNonwoven Material Development and Application Innovation Contest. Aproject from our college's 2023 nonwoven majors also won the thirdprize in this contest. Seeing their peers' excellent designs, thestudents couldn't help but express their admiration.

Thestudents also participated in the "Safety and Protective TextileMaterials Products Conference" held concurrently, listening tothe wonderful lectures of experts and scholars, and discussing thenew situations and challenges faced by the safety and protectivetextile industry.

Throughthis visit, the students appreciated the vigorous development of thenonwoven industry, which inspired them to study hard and accumulateknowledge and energy for future careers in textile and nonwovenfields.
