Recently, the School of Textile and Fashion at Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES) achieved remarkable progress in fostering university–industry collaboration by successfully establishing a cooperation channel with LVMH, one of the world’s leading luxury groups. This partnership not only provides valuable internship opportunities for students in the Performance major but also marks another significant milestone in the School’s pursuit of industry–education integration.
To strengthen ties with top-tier enterprises in the industry and enhance students’ practical abilities and professional qualities, faculty member Guo Jialin of the School actively engaged in communication with LVMH, ultimately facilitating this special collaboration. In support of the initiative, LVMH opened internship recruitment for the position of Corporate Image Specialist specifically for students in the Performance major of the School of Textile and Fashion. This role not only requires a strong foundation in professional etiquette but also emphasizes creative expression, teamwork, and brand image communication skills.
Through careful recommendation and selection by the School, 10 outstanding students from the Performance major received the opportunity to participate in interviews for the Corporate Image Specialist internship at LVMH. During the interviews, the students demonstrated strong professionalism and distinctive charm. Whether in creative presentations or team-based tasks, they performed confidently and received high recognition from the interview panel.
Ultimately, with their exceptional performance and strong overall competencies, seven students successfully stood out and secured internship offers as Brand Image Specialist Interns at LOEWE, a brand under the LVMH Group. This achievement is not only a recognition of the students’ individual abilities but also a testament to the School’s excellence in performance arts education. After a period of internship, senior student Xi Jingyi was further recommended internally by the company and advanced to participate in LVMH’s prestigious Management Trainee selection process.
