[Visit to Enterprises for Post Expansion] Textile Engineering Major’s Industry-Education Integration Working Group Visits Manbo (Shanghai) Home Technology Co., Ltd. to Check on Intern Students

To deepen industry-education integration and promote university-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation, on May 28th, the Industry-Education Integration Working Group of the Textile Engineering Major from our college—composed of teachers Gao Weihong, Xu Yingqi, and Ou Kangkang—visited Manbo (Shanghai) Home Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Manbo”). They paid a special visit to Jia Chenchen, a junior student from the 2022 Textile Engineering cohort who is interning at the company. Wang Xiaohui, Supply Chain Manager and Corporate Tutor of Manbo, extended a warm welcome to the group. Both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as advancing industry-university-research cooperation, talent training, and employment.

At the forum, Gao Weihong, Deputy Director of the Textile Engineering Department, introduced the college’s basic background and professional characteristics. He emphasized that the college has always adhered to an industry-oriented development philosophy, focusing on practical education and industry-education integration. He expressed the hope that this visit would strengthen ties with leading enterprises in the industry, expand internship opportunities for current students and employment positions for graduates, and enhance the quality of talent training through university-enterprise cooperation.

Wang Xiaohui welcomed the college’s visit and shared Manbo’s latest layouts in new products, new projects, and sales channels. He stated that the company looks forward to conducting in-depth cooperation with the college in technological research and development, talent training, and other fields to jointly build a new platform for industry-education integration. Later, Wang Xiaohui led the college teachers on a tour of various departments of the company and highly praised Jia Chenchen for her outstanding performance during the internship in the Supply Chain Department.

This research activity not only promoted mutual understanding and trust between the college and the enterprise but also laid a solid foundation for the further advancement of the college’s industry-education integration efforts.
