School of Textiles and Fashion Successfully Holds “Intelligence Gathers in Textiles, Apparel Creates the Future” Spring Special Job Fair

On April 24th, the “Intelligence Gathers in Textiles, Apparel Creates the Future” Spring Special Job Fair, hosted by the School of Textiles and Fashion, was successfully held in the first-floor hall of the Modern Transportation Engineering Center on the Songjiang Campus. Leaders from the Student Affairs Department, members of the college leadership team, department directors, professional teachers, and all counselors attended the event in person, providing strong attention and support for the organization and operation of the job fair.

The job fair attracted the participation of 36 high-quality enterprises, covering multiple fields such as textiles, apparel, materials, and testing. Well-known enterprises including Shanghai Different Advanced Material, Shanghai Lianxuan Industry, and Guangjian Testing Technology (Shanghai) made their appearances, offering diverse positions in R&D, design, sales, and other areas. This event created a broad platform for students to pursue employment and internships.

The scene was filled with an enthusiastic atmosphere. Graduates actively submitted their resumes and held in-depth discussions with enterprises about employment opportunities; lower-grade students also participated enthusiastically, taking the initiative to seek internship positions and plan their career directions in advance. Recruiters highly praised the students’ professional quality and practical abilities, and preliminary employment intentions were reached with some outstanding students.

As an important measure to deepen university-enterprise cooperation, this job fair effectively promoted the connection between talent supply and demand. It not only injected fresh blood into enterprises but also helped students clarify their career plans. In the future, the college will continue to carry out diversified employment service activities, deepen the integration of industry, university, and research, support students' growth and development, and inject new momentum into the development of the textile and garment industry.
