Textile and Garment College Held Graduate Tutor Training Activities

On the afternoon of October 14, the College of Textile and Garment held a training activity for graduate tutors, and Professor Xie Kongliang from Donghua University was specially invited to give a lecture. Xin Binjie, dean of Textile and Garment College, graduate tutors and young teachers attended the event.

Professor Xie Kongliang, doctoral supervisor, China textile technology leader, national key project evaluation expert, member of the National Dye Standardization Committee, 2020 and 2021 Elsevier China highly cited scholar, has won 10 provincial and ministerial science and Technology Progress awards. Professor Xie explained how to guide graduate students to carry out scientific research, how to lead and guide graduate students to academic growth and innovation, and shared the guidance experience of doctoral students and master students, and put forward the differences between the guidance of master students and professional master students.

Professor Xie also shared his experience of being approved by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He also shared his experience in graduate training with the graduate supervisors. In particular, young teachers should quickly change their roles and integrate into the research team to effectively improve the level of graduate supervisors.

The implementation of the graduate tutor training activity plays an important role in effectively improving the guidance ability of our graduate tutors and improving the quality of graduate training.
