The School of Textiles and Fashion Holds Launch Meeting for 2026 National-Level Project Applications

To comprehensively advance the high-quality application process for national-level projects in 2026, the School of Textiles and fashion convened a kickoff meeting for national project applications on October 14, 2025. The meeting focused on objectives, timelines, and mentoring mechanisms, further clarifying the application strategy and workflow. School leadership and relevant faculty members participating in the applications attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Associate Dean Qu Hongjian systematically summarized the school's 2025 national-level project application outcomes. He identified strengths and areas for improvement regarding topic refinement, team organization, prior research foundations, and proposal quality, proposing the following improvement directions: “early planning, enhanced collaboration, highlighting distinctive features, and meticulous refinement.” Dean Xin Binjie provided individual feedback on each faculty member's proposed project, offering specific guidance and expectations regarding research value, alignment with academic frontiers, and innovative highlights. He emphasized the need to precisely target the intersection of the college's strengths and national priorities, fully leverage cross-team collaboration and integrated resources both within and outside the university, and strive to develop landmark and pioneering project applications.
