On the afternoon of June 24, Tang Yongsheng (Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office) led a delegation to visit the off-campus internship base for the School of Textiles and Fashion's industry-education integration demonstration majors: Intertek (Shanghai). They were warmly received by She Qionglei (General Manager of Textile Lab), Miao Rong (Senior Manager of Textile Customer Service), Jiang Yiwen (Senior Manager of National Standards), Ke Wei (Customer Service Manager of Footwear), and Wang Qi (HR Manager). Participating in the visit were Professor Sha Ling (Undergraduate Teaching Supervisor), Xu Qianhui (Academic Affairs Office), Gao Weihong (Deputy Director of Textile Engineering), and internship instructor Xu Yingqi.

During the symposium, both sides held in-depth discussions on talent cultivation and base construction. As a key off-campus base, Intertek has strongly supported our talent cultivation. Since 2023, the company has provided a total of 86 internship positions for our demonstration majors (Textile Engineering, Nonwoven Materials and Engineering), with 28 high-quality positions opened this semester, effectively meeting internship demands. The university listened to feedback on interns' competencies and proposed further optimizing the curriculum to integrate cutting-edge industry testing standards and technologies, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
Afterward, led by General Manager She, the delegation visited the internship sites, chatting with interns about their work content, life adaptation, and professional gains, encouraging them to cherish the opportunity to transform theory into vocational skills.

This visit strengthened the connection between the university and the internship base, laying a foundation for deepened cooperation. Both parties will continue to explore new paths for collaborative education to jointly cultivate high-quality applied and innovative talents for the textile industry, achieving a win-win situation.
