To deepen school-enterprise collaborative education, inherit jacquard textile culture, and help students grasp the digital and innovative development trends of the textile industry, on the afternoon of June 10, Chairman Chai Fangjun of SKYTEX Fashion Technology Co., Ltd. was specially invited to the Weaving course to deliver a lecture titled Stepping into the Aesthetics of Jacquard.

The lecture was aimed at all sophomore students majoring in textiles. Chairman Chai Fangjun vividly explained the unique value and cultural heritage of jacquard techniques as a traditional Chinese textile craft. He covered the origin of ancient traditional jacquard weaving techniques, technological iterations, and the cultural connotations and application scenarios of jacquard patterns and fabric crafts across different eras. Rooted in traditional jacquard craftsmanship, SKYTEX has broken the application limitations of traditional jacquard fabrics. By combining modern aesthetics with the needs of diverse scenarios, the company continuously innovates in pattern design and fabric combinations, effectively expanding the application of jacquard fabrics in fields such as apparel, home furnishings, cultural and creative products, and art.

To enhance the practicality and interest of the class, an interactive practice session was arranged. The company brought a variety of exquisite physical jacquard fabric samples and thematic display boards for students to experiment with fabric color matching. The students participated with great enthusiasm, creating a strong learning atmosphere. At the end of the lecture, Chairman Chai Fangjun and Dean Xin Binjie provided a summary and critique of the students' work. They encouraged the students to solidly master their professional fundamentals. They also offered encouragement for the students' upcoming job-shadowing internships, hoping that they would cherish the resources of the school-enterprise cooperation platform, actively participate in corporate practice, gain experience in real positions, and lay a solid foundation for their future employment and development.
