In order to deepen university-enterprise cooperation and collaborative talent cultivation mechanisms, and precisely align with cutting-edge industry needs, on November 7, the School of Textiles and Fashion participated in a visit to Shanghai Challenge Textile Technology Co., Ltd. for an exchange activity on industry-education integration and collaborative talent cultivation. Faculty representatives from the Graduate School, the School of Textiles and Fashion, and other schools participated in the exchange. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including talent cultivation and scientific research cooperation.
At the exchange meeting, a responsible person from Challenge provided a detailed introduction to the company's development history, core business, strategic planning, and current operational status. Faculty members from the school conducted an in-depth tour of the company's modern production workshops, research and development center, and product exhibition hall, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the complete production process from fiber raw materials to high-end finished products, as well as the company's achievements in fields such as high-performance fabrics.
Participating faculty members expressed their gratitude for the warm reception extended by Challenge and shared the school's distinctive features and advantages in scientific research and the cultivation of outstanding engineers. By gaining firsthand insight into the production front line, educators can better grasp industry dynamics and thereby feed back into teaching and research, optimize talent cultivation models, and enhance students' engineering practice and innovation capabilities.
