The 15th China Textile Academic Conference was held in Nantong from October 17 to 19, hosted by the China Textile Engineering Society. Over 1,000 participants from universities, research institutions, enterprises, and public sector organizations across the country attended the conference, including more than 100 faculty and students from the School of Textiles and Fashion at our university.

On the morning of October 19, 2025, the School of Textiles and Fashion hosted the Fiber New Materials and Green Digital Intelligence Processing Technology sub-forum. Professor Xin Binjie, Dean of the School of Textiles and Fashion, and Professor Xu Lihui, Vice Dean, chaired the session. The conference invited eight distinguished scholars from Donghua University, Tianjin Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Jiangnan University, Soochow University, Qingdao University, and other institutions to deliver academic presentations. Focusing on cutting-edge industry topics, the sub-forum was committed to promoting the green and digital transformation and upgrading of the textile industry. The sessions covered frontier topics including polyester fiber simulation and advanced manufacturing, sustainable denim product production technology, basalt fiber textile processing performance, apparel technology archaeology, unidirectional liquid transport functional textile materials, fiber air filtration materials, and visible-near infrared spectroscopy-based textile material simulation, facilitating the exchange of scientific research achievements in the fields of textile new materials and green digital intelligence processing.

The Fiber New Materials and Green Digital Intelligence Processing Technology sub-forum of the 15th China Textile Academic Conference provided a high-quality academic exchange platform for textile scholars, effectively promoted collaborative innovation between our university and peer institutions, the textile industry, and enterprises, and is of great significance in advancing disciplinary innovation and development.
