In order to further advance industry-education integration, deepen university-enterprise cooperation, and implement the goal of cultivating applied talents, on the morning of September 9, 2025, the Textile Engineering and Nonwoven Materials and Engineering programs of the School of Textiles and Fashion held the mobilization meeting for the Class of 2023's industry-education integration internship in Multifunctional Classroom B407 of the Teaching Building. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Gao Weihong, Deputy Director of the Textile Engineering Department. Students who were about to begin their internships, on-campus supervising teachers, and other relevant faculty members attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Miss. Zheng Yuansheng, Director of the Textile Engineering Department, first delivered education on internship safety and discipline, emphasizing the importance of safety protection and compliance with rules and regulations during the internship, and reminding students to firmly establish a sense of safety awareness and responsibility. Subsequently, the person in charge of the industry-education integration internship course provided a detailed interpretation of the internship syllabus and grading criteria, helping students gain a comprehensive understanding of internship requirements and evaluation methods.

During the experience-sharing segment, a student representative from the Class of 2023 shared insights on internship preparation and experiences, providing valuable references for fellow students about to embark on their internship positions. An interactive Q&A session was also arranged, during which faculty and students engaged in thorough discussions on potential challenges that might be encountered during the internship. Finally, Professor Xin Binjie, Dean of the School of Textiles and Fashion, delivered closing remarks, encouraging students to cherish the internship opportunities at enterprises, hone their skills and improve their competencies through hands-on practice, and strive to translate classroom learning into workplace capabilities, thereby showcasing the fine spirit of SUES students.

The industry-education integration internship is an important component of the talent cultivation programs for both Textile Engineering and Nonwoven Materials and Engineering, and is also a significant initiative undertaken by the university to promote industry-education integration. By immersing themselves in enterprise front-line operations, students can gain authentic exposure to industry development, enhance their professional skills, and strengthen their employability. The convening of this mobilization meeting has laid a solid foundation for the Class of 2023 to smoothly transition into their enterprise internship positions.
