On the afternoon of September 17, the 2026 Freshman Opening Ceremony of the School of Textiles and Fashion was held at Zhihong Hall. Zhu Junxuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Xin Binjie, Dean of the School, and all other school leaders, freshman class advisors and counselors, together with all 2026 freshmen, gathered together to embark on a new journey of youth. Teacher Zhou Zhipeng, a representative of mentors, sent a message to the freshmen, encouraging students to study diligently and think well, and to explore deeply in their professional fields. Outstanding alumnus Liao Yaohong shared his growth experience through video, telling his youthful story of going to the west to build the motherland, and inspiring freshmen to cultivate a strong sense of home and country.
