In order to deepen university-local and university-enterprise cooperation and promote the precise alignment of scientific and technological achievements with enterprise needs, from July 27 to 28, 2026, at the invitation of the Science and Technology Bureau of Binzhou City, Shandong Province, Xin Binjie, Dean of the School of Textiles and Fashion of Shanghai University of Engineering Science, led a team to Binzhou City to carry out enterprise research and technical exchange. Xu Lihui, Vice Dean of the School, Zheng Yuansheng, Director of the Department of Textile Engineering, Gao Weihong and Yang Qun, Deputy Directors of the Department, and key teachers participated in the research.
The research team successively visited enterprises such as Jinguan Netting, Longfu Huanneng Technology, Hualong Textile, Xiangyun Home Textiles, Yuanshan Weaving, and Weiqiao Guoke, gaining an in-depth understanding of enterprise production and operations, technological research and development, product innovation, and transformation and upgrading, and conducted exchanges around needs such as technological breakthroughs, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation. At the exchange meeting, Liu Dongfang, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Binzhou City Science and Technology Bureau, introduced the industrial development situation of Binzhou City, the characteristic advantages of the textile industry, and scientific and technological innovation needs. Xin Binjie introduced the development overview of the university and the school, disciplinary characteristics, talent cultivation, and scientific research innovation. Teachers from the school and enterprise representatives conducted in-depth communication around fields such as new textile materials, green and low-carbon manufacturing, resource recycling, functional textiles, intelligent production, and product innovation, and jointly explored paths for technological supply-demand alignment and industry-university-research cooperation.
This research further strengthened the connection between the school and Binzhou City's science and technology management departments and related enterprises. The school will leverage its advantages in disciplines, scientific research, and talent, continue to promote collaborative innovation among universities, localities, and enterprises, and provide scientific and technological as well as talent support for the quality improvement and upgrading of Binzhou City's textile industry and the high-quality development of the regional economy.
